AFFILIATED CHARITIES
The EVERESTMAX Team
The EVERESTMAX
team is fundraising for the following three charities.
We hope our endeavours will raise a significant sum;
our target is £15,000 for each charity. It is in the
nature of the expedition to set high goals and we very
much hope that you will help us to achieve our target.

an online donation direct to the charity.
The minimum goal is to raise £45 000. Until this target
is reached or until January 2007 (whichever comes first),
all fees for Pauline’s presentations will be going to
these charities. After that 5% of all her fees will
be going to selected children’s charities
SOS CCHILDREN'S VILLAGES
SOS
Children's Villages revolve around the effort
to give children who have lost their parents or who
are no longer able to live with them a permanent home
and a stable environment. The SOS Children's Village
family-like structure is formed by four basic principles:
mother, brothers, and sisters, house and village. To

MERLIN
Merlin
exists to provide an immediate and effective response
to medical emergencies throughout the world. Our work
is based upon the humanitarian principle that all people,
regardless of race, religion or political affiliation,
are entitled to lifesaving care and medical assistance.
Given the unpredictable nature of Merlin's needs EVERESTMAX
is not supporting a specific project, however they will
be cycling through a Bam in Iran which was hit by a
great earthquake on 26th December 2003. Merlin played
a huge part in the relief effort and the team look forward
to seeing first hand the support that Merlin have offered
to these communities in great need. To find out more
